Professional Experience
Richard has twenty-two (30)+ years of experience in public auditing and accounting, primarily in the governmental and not-for-profit sectors. Additionally, he has prior accounting experience of eight years in the manufacturing industry in general ledger accounting, manufacturing costs, inventory control and controllership functions. He has performed and participated in audits of various governmental and not-for-profit entities such as, Bexar County, Port San Antonio, Alamo Community College District, Bexar Appraisal District, SER Jobs for Progress, City of Fort Stockton, and the City of Del Rio. He has served as a presenter and participant in seminars on federal and state compliance requirements for the City of San Antonio and updates of new accounting and auditing pronouncements as related to governmental and nonprofit organizations.
